Investigation underway in Hickory Hills after 2 people shot outside restaurant

CHICAGO (CBS)-- Police are investigating a shooting outside a restaurant in suburban Hickory Hills.

Police said two people were shot while walking to their cars in the parking lot outside of Prime Time, a popular bar and restaurant.

Police confirmed this was not a random shooting and may have been related to an earlier altercation inside the restaurant. 

CBS 2 spoke to employees from a nearby Denny's who said people ran from Prime Time into their restaurant after shots were fired.
