Car strikes gas line causing hazmat situation on South Side

CHICAGO (CBS) -- The Chicago Fire Department is responding to a hazmat situation on the city's South Side.

Fire officials responded to a level 1 hazmat after a car struck a gas line at 74th and Ashland around 2:49 p.m.

No further information was immediately available.
