The Chicago area will get clipped by a storm on Monday, with minor impacts – including brief areas of freezing drizzle early before temperatures warm above freezing. Light rain will be more likely during the day.

Temperatures keep rising through next weekend, eventually climbing to the 50s. Gray skies are expected all week, but the weather looks mainly dry Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, which is also the first day of Hannukah. Better chances of rain arrive Friday and Saturday.
