Friends Of Mt. Greenwood Girl Battling Cancer Send Video Invite To Taylor Swift
(CBS) -- First, she had a Chicago street named in her honor. Now friends and even total strangers want to help Emily Beazley, a young girl battling cancer, make another dream come true.
Hundreds of people took the stage at 115 Bourbon Street Sunday afternoon as kids of all ages decked out in Emily's favorite color purple and neon green for cancer awareness, danced to a Taylor Swift song as a video invitation.
Emily is lined up to meet Swift at her concert in Chicago this July, but her doctors are afraid that might be too late.
Now friends have launched a huge effort on Facebook and Twitter to get Swift to meet Emily earlier.
