Holiday warming trend ahead in Chicago
CHICAGO (CBS)- Gray, warmer weather dominates the forecast for the holiday week in the Chicago area.
Following a cloudy Monday with a few afternoon rain showers, gray weather persists on Christmas Eve during th day. A few flurries are possible on Tuesday with highs in the upper 30s, but no impacts are expected.
Christmas Day afternoon will bring gray skies with periods of drizzle and fog.
Higher chances of rain are in the forecast for Friday through the coming weekend, with high temperatures surging 25 degrees warmer than normal.
