Four Shot Outside South Shore Strip Mall

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Four people were shot outside a strip mall in the South Shore neighborhood late Monday night.

CBS 2's Susanna Song reports the victims – a man, two women, and a teenage girl – were standing outside a Pizza Hut in the 6700 block of South Stony Island Avenue around 10:40 p.m., when a small white car circled around them, and someone in the car opened fire.

A 16-year-old girl was shot in the leg, an 18-year-old woman was shot in the abdomen, a 22-year-old woman was shot in the neck, and a 26-year-old man was shot in the leg.

None of the injuries was life-threatening, and all the victims' conditions had been stabilized early Tuesday.

It was unclear if the victims worked at the Pizza Hut, or were there to pick up food. The store was scheduled to close at 11 p.m.

Police said the victims do not appear to have any gang ties.
