Four Charged After Cancelled Donald Trump Rally At UIC

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police arrested four protesters outside the cancelled Trump rally Friday night and two remain in custody.

23-year-old Sergio Giraldo is being held on three felony charges and two misdemeanors and 21-year-old Sohaan Goss is facing felony battery charges

Meanwhile, one of the protesters who has since been released from jail is sharing his story. Timothy Bradford was taken into custody on Friday and claims police attacked him.

"To let people know that Anita Alvarez got to go and that she's connected to people like Trump that thinks our community needs to be over-policed and penalized for every single thing and that cops don't need to be held accountable for their actions and we were attacked by the police as a result of doing so," He said.

Bradford is facing two misdemeanor charges for resisting arrest and obstructing an officer.

45-year-old Kathleen Griffin of Barbeau, Michigan was also charged with misdemeanor counts of resisting arrest and obstructing an officer.

Trump scheduled a rally at the UIC Pavilion Friday evening and the campaign cancelled the event due to security concerns.
