USPS raising price for first-class stamp in July

CHICAGO (CBS) -- It's about to cost you more to mail a letter.

The United States Postal Service is increasing the price of a first-class U.S. stamp to 66 cents on July 9.

It's the third first-class stamp price increase since 2019.

The postal service is on a ten-year plan aimed at becoming profitable.
