Father Of Slain 9-Year-Old Tyshawn Lee Charged In Shooting That Left 3 Wounded
(CBS) -- The father of nine-year-old murder victim Tyshawn Lee has been charged with shooting three people last week, reports WBBM's Nancy Harty.
Pierre Stokes faces three counts of battery with a firearm and one count of unlawful use of a weapon by a felon, according to the Cook County state's attorney's office.
The 25-year-old has been charged with the shooting of three people near 79th and Ashland on March 8. None of the injuries was life threatening.
Stokes' nine-year-old son Tyshawn Lee was killed last November in what police say was an execution-style murder. Last week, prosecutors announced charges against two men for Tyshawn Lee's murder, part of a long-running gang feud.
