Man dies in fall at Starved Rock State Park

CHICAGO (CBS) — A man died in a fall in Starved Rock State Park in LaSalle County on Saturday afternoon, according to the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. 

The incident was reported around 4:30 p.m. at Illinois Canyon in the park. 

The LaSalle County Coroner's office identified the victim as 38-year-old Albert Cramer, of Oswego.

An autopsy determined Cramer died of injuries from the fall. No foul play was suspected.

As of Monday morning, the incident remained under investigation by the LaSalle County Coroner's Office, Illinois Conservation Police Department, and Illinois State Police.

Starved Rock State Park is about 90 miles southwest of Chicago.
