THANK YOU Harry! Harry Porterfield Retiring From CBS 2

CHICAGO (CBS) -- After 51 years on television in Chicago, including more than 30 years here at Channel 2, Harry Porterfield will be retiring from CBS 2 at of the end of this month.

Harry began his illustrious career here in 1964, working as a writer, reporter and anchor for 25 years.

He returned to CBS 2 in 2009.

For the last 61/2 years, he has anchored the 11 a.m. newscast and reported his famed Someone You Should Know stories.

While Harry is retiring from CBS 2, he'll always be an important part of our family.

Beginning Monday, December 28, morning news anchors Erin Kennedy and Lionel Moise will assume anchor duties for the CBS 2 New at 11 a.m. Roseanne Tellez will become a full-time, general assignment reporter.
