Embattled Russian Hockey Coach: 'Eat Me Alive Right Now'

(CBS) So, the Russians aren't taking their 3-1 quarterfinal loss to Finland in the Olympic hockey quarterfinals Wednesday very well.

In what sounds like as tense of a postgame press conference as there is, stunned Russia coach Zinetula Bilyaletdinov was at a loss for answers. He was also upset, and he gave a memorable quip when asked about his future and how his predecessor was "eaten alive" after a Olympic run.

"Well then, eat me alive right now," Bilyaletdinov said, according to the Wall Street Journal.

"Eat me, and I won't be here anymore," he interjected when the reporter tried to clarify his question.

Asked if he felt at fault, Bilyaletdinov took the heat.

"I don't want to talk about this now," he said. "I'm at fault for everything. I didn't fulfill the task before me."

To add to the dysfunction, Bilyaletdinov also called out star Alex Ovechkin.
