Elderly Man With Alzheimer's Missing From Humboldt Park
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police are asking for the public's help in finding an 83-year-old man missing from the West Side Humboldt Park neighborhood since Tuesday.
Stephen Marshall Delsol, of the 4300 block of West Crystal, was last seen about 9 p.m. Tuesday, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.
Delsol, who suffers from Alzheimer's, left his relatives' house in the area of Lawndale Avenue and Augusta Boulevard to walk home and never arrived, police said.
He has been found in the past in the 1800 block of North Clybourn, by Cicero police, near Lake Shore Drive and LaSalle and in the 2000 block of North Oak Park, police said.
Delsol is described as a 140-pound, 5-foot-7 black man with brown eyes, gray or balding hair and a dark complexion, police said. He was last seen wearing a gray sweater, a green and black plaid shirt, black church pants and shoes, police said.
He should be carrying a wallet with his Illinois State ID, police said.
