Elderly Man Found Dead In Lake Villa Pool
LAKE VILLA, Ill. (STMW) -- A 77-year-old man was found dead in his pool Sunday evening in north suburban Lake Villa.
Officers responding to the man's home in the 600 block of East Grand Avenue about 5 p.m. found him unresponsive in the pool, according to a statement from Lake Villa police.
The man's name was withheld pending notification of his family. The Lake County Coroner's office could not immediately provide additional information Monday morning.
Lake Villa Police Lt. Dennis Geraty said the man likely drowned.
There is no indication of foul play as police investigate.
