Elderly Couple Dead In Bridgeport Murder-Suicide
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man and woman died in what authorities called a "domestic-related murder-suicide" Tuesday night in the South Side Bridgeport neighborhood.
Chen Su and his wife Hsin Su, both 84, were discovered by their daughters in a bedroom of their home in the 900 block of West 31st Place about 9 p.m., according to police and the Cook County medical examiner's office.
Both had suffered gunshot wounds to the head and were pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
Police said a weapon was discovered next to the man's body, and he is believed to be the shooter.
Autopsies are scheduled for Wednesday.
