2-alarm fire breaks out at historic building on Chicago's North Side
CHICAGO (CBS)-- Firefighters responded to a two-alarm fire at a historic building in Edwater Thursday morning.
The Chicago Fire Department said the fire broke out at a two-and-a-half-story mansion at 5356 North Sheridan Road. The mansion was built in 1913 and it was recently slated to be replaced by an apartment building.
