Dwyane Wade's Family Excited For Superstar's Homecoming

(CBS) Basketball star Dwyane Wade is coming back home to play with the Bulls.

Family and friends on Chicago's south side, where Wade grew up, can't wait to see him in a Bulls jersey. But as Roseanne Tellez reports, even his own mom was caught off-guard.

Pastor Jolinda Wade said she had no idea the deal was happening.

"That's why it caught us all by surprise that he would come back full circle," she said.

Outside the Wade's World Foundation Summer Camp in West Pullman, his mom and sister couldn't hide their excitement.

"After I passed out five times, I cried," sister Tragil Wade said.

The athletic director at Wade's old high school, Richards, which is filled with memorabilia about Wade, used to coach the competition at Marist. He remembers the young athlete.

"He was so good, and he did things so efficiently and so well and he was so productive," Ken Styler said. "The city's going to be electric."

The brother he played basketball with at Richards can't wait for his return.

"To see him in a Bulls jersey -- that will be an awesome thing," Lester McDaniel says.
