Duncan Keith Will Miss Game Against Wild With Illness
(CBS) Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith will miss Tuesday night's game against the Wild at the United Center with an illness.
Chicago coach Joel Quenneville didn't know if the illness had anything to do with the mumps virus that is believed to have been contracted by up to 20 NHL players.
"I'm not sure about that." Quenneville said, according to the Tribune. "I don't know what's wrong. He's sick. Not feeling good."
Quenneville added that the team is "doing everything we can to prevent (the mumps) -- we'll see what happens."
In goal, Antti Raanta will receive his second consecutive start.
