Don Baylor Breaks His Leg On Ceremonial First Pitch

(CBS) What was supposed to be a touching moment turned scary in Monday's season opener between the Angels and Mariners in Anaheim.

The Angels honored former star Vladimir Guerrero by having him throw out the ceremonial first pitch to Don Baylor, the team's first-year hitting coach and a former Cubs manager. But as Baylor goes to catch the pitch while crouching, his right leg bends awkwardly. He had to be helped off the field, and the team later announced he broke his right femur.

Click below to watch the video. It's not a gruesome clip, but warning, you can see Baylor's leg bend in a way legs weren't meant to bend.
