DePaul gets clobbered by St. John's, extend losing streak to 11 in a row

NEW YORK (AP) — Jordan Dingle and Daniss Jenkins each scored 14 points as St. John's beat DePaul 85-57 on Tuesday night.

Dingle and Jenkins also made four 3-pointers apiece as the Red Storm went 15 of 40 from distance.

Joel Soriano had 11 points and eight rebounds for Rutgers (14-9, 6-6 Big East Conference).

The Blue Demons (3-20, 0-12) were led in scoring by K.T. Raimey, who finished with 11 points. Jalen Terry added 10 points for DePaul. Elijah Fisher also recorded eight points, five assists and two steals. The Blue Demons had their losing streak extended to 11 in a row.

St. John's took the lead with 18:35 left in the first half and did not relinquish it. The score was 38-29 at halftime, with Dingle racking up 11 points. St. John's extended its lead to 61-35 during the second half, fueled by a 13-0 scoring run. Jenkins scored a team-high 11 points in the second half.
