Rain on and off the next few days for Chicago area
CHICAGO (CBS) — Areas of fog this evening, then cloudy skies with a chance for drizzle and light rain overnight. Lows will be in the mid 40s.
Rain chances increase to 100% for Friday, especially after 9 a.m. Rain continues through the early evening hours. Rainfall amounts up to a half inch are possible. Highs on Friday will be near 50 degrees.
Saturday will be mainly dry with a mostly cloudy sky and highs in the low 50s. Rain chances increase again for Sunday with highs in the upper 40s.
For next week, we'll start out dry Monday, then have another opportunity for rain on Tuesday. Temperatures crash to the 20s for Tuesday night as we ring in the new year. Highs will be around freezing for the first full day of 2025 on Wednesday.
