Deflategate Is Over, As Tom Brady Announces He's Dropping Legal Action Against NFL
(CBS) Mercifully, "Deflategate" is over.
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady announced on his Facebook account that he will drop all legal action against the NFL regarding his four-game suspension for his role in deflating footballs in the AFC Championship game in January 2015. Brady's last recourse to get his four-game suspension overturned had been to have his case heard before the United State Supreme Court, but he won't push it that far.
