DeAndre Levy Calls Breaking 'Dirtbag' Joe Paterno's Leg His 'Proudest Moment In College'

(CBS) Lions linebacker DeAndre Levy called breaking the leg of late Penn State football coach Joe Paterno in an accidental sideline collision while he was at Wisconsin his "proudest moment in college."

Levy made the comments to Men's Journal, not holding back in his disdain for Paterno, who took no steps or action to prevent longtime assistant coach Jerry Sandusky from sexually assaulting children for years. Levy careened into Paterno in a 2006 game.

"That dirtbag, man," Levy said of Paterno. "We've gotta stop prioritizing sports over humanity. Just because somebody can throw a football or coach football, they're excluded from their wicked acts."

You can read the full article here, which calls Levy the "most interesting man in the NFL."
