Cubs Fans Can Take A Bite Out Of 'The Jake' Or 'The Rizzo'

(CBS) – Some businesses are looking to cash in on the Cubs connection as the NLDS gets underway in Chicago.

On Tuesday, Goddess and Grocer began offering up their Cubs-inspired sandwiches: The Jake and The Rizzo.

The Jake is a wrap; The Rizzo is more like a traditional sandwich. Both are offered by Goddess and Grocer. (CBS)

The Jake is grilled chicken breast, edamame hummus, broccoli chard slaw and peanut ginger sauce in a whole wheat wrap.

The Rizzo: chipotle-braised carnitas, queso fresco, avocado, black bean relish, tomatillo salsa and cilantro cream on a telero roll.

The restaurant is also featuring Cubs-related layer cake and cake pops.

Meanwhile, Giordano's, which normally sells about 1,000 pizzas a day, is offering a special "Fly the W" version at select locations. The letter is stencilled in with Parmesan cheese.
