CTA Reports Increase In Passengers Amid Return To Work

CHICAGO (CBS)-- As the city reopens and more people return to work, the CTA is seeing a sharp increase in passengers.

The number of riders has increased more than 55% since the beginning of the year, and that only continues to grow.

Now 4 million rides are taken per week, with about 600,000 per day.

The CTA says it continues to clean and disinfect all vehicles and stations multiple times a day.
