Chicago high school students casting early ballots through 'Parade to the Polls' event

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Chicago Public Schools students old enough to vote participated in "Parade to the Polls" to cast their ballots for the Feb. 28 mayoral election.

Before the field trip, the students at Solorio High School and Whitney Young High School took part in a brief civics education rally.

A total of eight schools will participate in the program before Election Day.
