Showers possible for Chicago area on Sunday
CHICAGO (CBS) — Showers with a rumble of thunder are possible in the Chicago area Saturday evening as an upper-level wave rides along the stationary front near I-80.
Lakeside rain showers at times Sunday through Tuesday.
A cold front crosses our area Sunday afternoon, opening the door for high winds from the northwest. They may gust to 40 mph.
This cooler air mass will bring some chilly nights to start next week. Expect frosty mornings inland Monday night and Tuesday night.
