CHICAGO (CBS)-- Some seniors are enjoying fresh produce this morning, courtesy of Cook County.
What a surprise for folks at this senior apartment in Evanston.
Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle and other officials are making special deliveries as part of a day of service.
It's a county-wide effort to get fresh produce and groceries to low-income seniors and people with disabilities who live in county housing.
