ComEd goat parade held along Chicago River
CHICAGO (CBS) -- The ComEd goats celebrated their last week of summer by participating in a small parade along the Chicago River.
They cruised the river on five different boats starting at noon before heading to downstate Pekin, near Peoria.
Every year, ComEd uses more than 200 goats to clear vegetation under power lines in areas that are difficult for human employees to access.
You're invited! We're having a Small Boat Goat Parade today, August 31, on the Riverwalk near LaSalle from noon to 3PM. Join us as we celebrate our goats and all they do to bring us safe and reliable power. See you by the river! 🌊 pic.twitter.com/qhYSywE5Ao
