Chicago's St. Sabina Restarts Gun Buyback Program
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Starting Monday, Saint Sabina is giving people another chance to turn in guns for cash.
The South Side church is resuming its gun buy-back program, based on the success of the last one back in July.
Anyone 25 or under got $200 for turning in a handgun and $100 for a rifle. The church took in more than 200 guns and gave out $25,000. Working guns can be turned in from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the Saint Sabina parish in Gresham.
