Warm Trend Continues Into Next Week

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Mild temperatures should continue across the Chicago area the next several days, and while Saturday should have great weather for the St. Patrick's Day parade downtown, the South Side Irish Parade on Sunday could be a wet one.

There was a bit of fog to start the day Friday in Chicago, but skies have cleared, and the rest of the day should be sunny and crisp, with temperatures topping out in the mid 50s.

Saturday should be a little warmer, with a high around 57, but will grow cloudier through the day. Some suburbs could reach the low or mid 60s.

Rain was expected to begin late Saturday night, with showers continuing on and off through most of the day Sunday, when temperatures could reach the low 60s in the city.

Next week also starts off with more chances for rain on Monday and Tuesday, and temperatures will range from the 50s at night to the mid 60s during the day.
