Chicago Weather: Winds Relax Wednesday Night

CHICAGO (CBS) -- It will be mild and dry through the weekend with warming temperatures.
The low on Wednesday night is 50, with 40s inland, under clear skies. The high for Thursday is 72.
As a ridge of high pressure drifts overhead into tomorrow, winds relax. That will allow a light lake breeze to develop, keeping lakefront temperatures in the 60s.
Look for clear skies next two days and a high of 79 on Friday. A front will cross our area this weekend. But it comes through dry.
Scattered showers are possible for Columbus Day.
