Chicago Subway Train Derails, No Injuries Reported
(CBS) -- A southbound train car on the Red Line derailed Thursday evening in the Loop, but no injuries were reported.
The car derailed around 8 p.m. in the 100 block of North State. A CTA spokesperson called it a "minor" derailment, but one that is interfering with normal southbound service.
The Red Line is operating on elevated tracks from Fullerton to Cermak temporarily. Northbound service is running normally.
Chicago fire officials say no one was injured.
