Chicago Police Officer Injured In South Side Shooting

A Chicago Police officer was grazed by a bullet on the South Side Tuesday night.

The officer suffered a facial wound about 10:05 p.m. in the 10000 block of South Eggleston.

The officer was transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center for treatment.

A suspect was taken into police custody after the shooting and a gun was recovered.
