Chicago municipal runoff totals breaks old record

CHICAGO (CBS) -- The final numbers have been tallied, and Chicago saw a record runoff election earlier this month.

More than 613,000 ballots were cast - that's a nearly 39% voter turnout.

It's also the most ballots cast in a city municipal election since February 1999.
