Buddy Guy To Headline Chicago Blues Festival

CHICAGO (AP) -- Buddy Guy and Shemekia Copeland are among the artists headlining this year's Chicago Blue Festival in the city's Grant Park.

Festival organizers also say they expect artists to honor late blues legend B.B. King throughout the weekend.

The free festival runs from June 12 to June 14. It's the 32nd year that Chicago has hosted a blues music festival. It's hosted by the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events.

Copeland, who is the daughter of late blues artist Johnny Copeland, and Guy will headline the festival on Saturday night. On Sunday night the main stage will feature Billy Branch and the Sons of the Blues with Eddy "The Chief" Clearwater. Sunday will also see tributes to Willie Dixon and Muddy Waters.
