Bryan Bickell Working To Find Permanent Home For 'Stanley Pups'
(CBS) -- The Stanley Cup has been making the rounds again in Chicago, and one Blackhawk is using it to help out some pit bulls, reports WBBM's Nancy Harty.
Bryan Bickell and his wife Amanda are looking to find permanent homes for six "Stanley Pups." They have names like Josh Zamboni, Lorde Sage, Crawford and Stanley Pup.
The Bickells have a foundation to help fight stereotypes about pit bulls.
They posed in several photographs with the dogs and the Stanley Cup. Bickell has also recruited several of his teammates, including Jonathan Toews and Marian Hossa, to pose with adoptable dogs for a calendar this year and last year.
