Dry Saturday ahead for Chicago area, but rain returns on Sunday
CHICAGO (CBS) — Areas of showers this evening, then sprinkles with patchy fog tonight. Lows will be in the mid 40s.
Saturday will be mainly dry with lots of clouds. A few breaks in the clouds will be possible in the afternoon. Highs will be around 20 degrees above normal in the low 50s.
Rain chances return on Sunday, especially for areas south of Chicago. Highs will be in the low to mid 40s.
Next week will feature a strong cold front on Tuesday with a rain and snow mix possible. Temperatures will fall to the mid 20s for New Year's Day morning. Highs on Wednesday will only be in the low 30s Wednesday, then mid 20s by late next week.
