Boys, 12 And 15, Injured In West Englewood Shooting

(STMW) -- Two boys, ages 12 and 15, were both injured in a West Englewood neighborhood shooting Saturday night on the South Side.

About 9:40 p.m., the boys were walking in the 6700 block of South Winchester when they heard gunfire and felt pain, police said.

The 12-year-old was shot in the leg and the 15-year-old was shot in the buttocks, police said. They were both taken in good condition to Comer Children's Hospital.
