Boy, 16, Shot In Greater Grand Crossing
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 16-year-old boy was shot early Monday in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side.
The boy was walking in the 6500 block of South King Drive at 1:03 a.m. when someone fired shots in his direction, police said.
He suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was taken in critical condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
