Book Fair Continues This Weekend At Newberry Library
(CBS) -- Walk into the Newberry Library this weekend and you step into a reader's paradise – and a lot more.
There are 120,000 books across 70 different categories, such as mysteries, cookbooks and childrens' series. Most have been donated by ordinary Chicagoans. There are also records, CDs, eight-tracks and photographs.
The free event, which began Thursday, runs through 6 p.m. Sunday at The Newberry, 60 W. Walton.
Most books cost just $2. All books are half-off on Sunday. All proceeds benefit The Newberry.
