Bolingbrook Investigating Whether Officer Played Video Poker On Duty
CHICAGO (CBS) -- The Bolingbrook police department is investigating what one of its officers was doing behind the wheel of his squad car last weekend.
A video posted on You Tube clearly shows a Bolingbrook police car moving on the road with an illuminated screen.
The narrator of the footage says it shows the officer playing video poker.
"He is indeed playing video poker, Mr. Bolingbrook police man," she says.
The quality of the video, apparently taken on Saturday while it was snowing, is poor, and it is difficult to see exactly what is on the screen.
Bolingbrook police Lt. Mike Rompa told WBBM Newsradio that the department is taking the allegations seriously and has launched an investigation.
