Body pulled from north branch of Chicago River

CHICAGO (CBS) – A body was recovered from the north branch of the Chicago River Thursday evening.

The body of a 63-year-old man was pulled just before 7 p.m. near the 1300 block of North Elston Avenue and was pronounced dead, according to police.

No offenders are in custody.

Area detectives are investigating.
