Body Found In Rosemont Forest Preserve

ROSEMONT, Ill. (STMW) -- A man's body was found Monday morning in a forest preserve in northwest suburban Rosemont.

A Cook County SWAP team, comprised of people sentenced to community service, discovered the body while cleaning the forest preserve in the 6200 block of River Road in Rosemont, according to the Cook County Sheriff's office.

The man was identified as 64-year-old Edward H. Webster, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.

Sheriff's spokesman Ben Breit said the man was possibly homeless, and his death does not appear to be suspicious.

An autopsy Tuesday did not rule on the cause or manner of his death pending further studies, according to the medical examiner's office.

Sheriff's police are investigating.
