Blackhawks Stanley Cup Final Tickets: Best Deal On Secondary Market?
CHICAGO (CBS) -- The cheapest ticket on the secondary market for the Stanley Cup Final is easily Wednesday's opener in Tampa, while the priciest would be a possible Game 6 in Chicago.
That's according to an analysis by ticket broker Vivid Seats and is based on prices from June 1.
In some cases, prices for games in Chicago are nearly double those in Tampa.
So, folks with a sense of adventure could save a few dollars if they have time for a road trip. Chicago transplants to the Sunshine State are in the best position but need to be careful not to wear their Blackhawks gear in certain sections of Tampa's stadium.
Potential series clinchers in Chicago are by far the most expensive, according to Vivid.
Game 4 (June 10, 7 p.m.) leads the guaranteed games with a median price of $1,207.
Game 6 (June 15, 7 p.m.) has the highest overall "get-in" price ($833) and median price ($1,995).
Game 1 on Wednesday at Tampa Bay has both the lowest get-in price ($295) and median price ($520).
Prices for Blackhawks home games does not include standing room-only listings.
