Blackhawks' Shaw Still Questionable For Game 2

(CBS) Blackhawks forward Andrew Shaw is still questionable for Game 2 of the Western Conference Final against the Kings tomorrow as he recovers from a lower-body injury.

Shaw has missed six straight games since suffering the injury in Game 1 of the second round against the Wild, and while he said Tuesday that,"I feel like I'm ready to play," he also admitted "that's not my decision to make."

"We're not sure on tomorrow," Chicago coach Joel Quenneville said.

"Certainly having time here and doing the right thing and giving him extra time is part of the decision as well."

In a sign of how close Shaw may be to returning, Quenneville added he might have let Shaw play if there had been a Game 7 against the Wild. Chicago wrapped that series up in six games. Shaw skated in full with his teammates at Tuesday's practice, but he also wore the white sweater at practice, indicating he was on the fifth line that isn't used.

The Blackhawks lead the Kings, 1-0, heading into Wednesday's 7 p.m. contest at the United Center.
