Blackhawks Recall Goaltender Mac Carruth
(CBS) -- The Blackhawks added some goaltender depth Wednesday by recalling Mac Carruth from Rockford.
Rosters expand in the playoffs so no corresponding move is necessary. Starter Corey Crawford and backup Antti Raanta both practiced in full this week and made the trip to St. Louis, so this just appears to be depth move.
Carruth, 22, split the regular season season between Rockford and the ECHL's Toledo Walleye and Florida Everblades. The Blackhawks drafted him in the seventh round in 2010.
