Blackhawks' Oduya 'Fine,' Sharp Still 3-4 Weeks Away

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Just two days after suffering an apparent leg injury, Blackhawks defeseman Johnny Oduya was back on the ice at practice Thursday.

"He's fine," Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville said.

Oduya left Tuesday's game with Tampa Bay in the third period after blocking a shot off his right leg. He was moving on the United Center ice on Thursday with no limitations.

Quenneville also confirmed winger Patrick Sharp is making progress in his recovery from a knee injury suffered last week. His timetable for a return remains three to four weeks. In addition, forward Daniel Carcillo is expected to return for Sunday's game against Dallas.

Chicago next travels to Detroit to battle the Red Wings on Friday night. Corey Crawford will be in net.
