Blackhawks, Mashinter Agree On 2-Year Deal
(CBS) The Blackhawks have signed forward Brandon Mashinter to a two-year contract extension through the end of the 2015-'16 season, the team announce Wednesday.
The 25-year-old Mashinter currently plays for the Rockford Icehogs in the AHL, where he's recorded 23 points in 34 games. He previously appeared in six NHL games with the New York Rangers, who traded him to the Blackhawks on Dec. 6.
