Billboard Shenanigans: Russell Wilson's First Name Still Has 2 Ls In It

(CBS) By now, having led his team to the Super Bowl, you'd have thought everyone knew how to spell the name of Seahawks star quarterback Russell Wilson.

Guess not.

Perhaps in an attempt to troll N.C .State fans, a billboard was placed in Raleigh in which Wisconsin football claims Wilson as its own. He spent his final college season playing for the Badgers after previously attending N.C. State, using the graduate transfer rule to become immediately eligible.

The only problem? The billboard misspelled Wilson's first name. For the record, there are two Ss and two Ls. Here's the proof of the mishap, courtesy of @DanBParksJr on Twitter.
